Your tasks
Within the Social Office, we have various units where we work to support people in their daily lives. The Social Office has accommodations for people with ongoing addiction or related issues, as well as those affected by violence. As an employee at one of these accommodations, you provide support to our clients in their daily lives.
Elsa is a protected accommodation for women aged 18 and over with ongoing addiction.
Frideborg's protected accommodation is for women and children in need of protection and support due to violence.
Gränden is an accommodation for men aged 18 and over with ongoing addiction.
Trozelli accommodation is a drug-free collective housing for men. The goal is for the individual to become more independent and maintain sobriety.
The Mobile Team, which is part of the Social Emergency Service, provides support and supervision at night in the Social Office's accommodations, which include adults with dependency syndromes, women affected by violence, youth, and families. The work is also based on specific assignments for individuals needing support and supervision. The work is grounded in flexibility, solution focus, and safety. A respectful approach is central.
Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have an ongoing or completed higher vocational education/university degree with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science.
We view work experience positively and if you are accustomed to working in this type of environment.
We are looking for someone with a good approach, a positive view of people, and a genuine interest in working with individuals.
You have good collaboration skills and can communicate the conditions of the operation in an informative and clear manner.
You organize, structure, and plan your work independently and effectively.
As a person, you are flexible and patient, which is evident in your interactions with people, where you can adapt to individual needs.
We value knowledge of low-arousal approaches, and training in MI is desirable.
